Pharmacist Prescriber Support

Clinical pharmacists and pharmacist prescribers play a vital role in supporting healthcare centres by providing expertise in medication management and patient care. Their involvement can alleviate the workload of GPs by conducting medication reviews and reconciliation services, as well as assisting in chronic disease management.

Repeat Prescribing Service

Provision of a standardised policy/ procedure to improve the quality and safety of repeat prescriptions. We aim to ensure monitoring and follow up is done in a timely and appropriate manner as per RNZCGP.

Inbox Management

Our team are well versed in assessing discharge summaries, clinic letters and laboratory results. We have processes in place to ensure further workup or assessment is carried out by the appropriate practitioner.

Medication Reviews

Our team is adept at optimising medication regimens and addressing medication-related issues, which can help prevent adverse drug events and improve patient outcomes.

Health Promotion Clinics

Our health promotion clinics are a flexible, community-centred approach to advancing public health goals, promoting wellness, and reducing healthcare disparities.

RxSupport can undertake repeat prescribing and medication reconciliation audits as per RNZCGP requirements. We also have experience in completing chronic disease and medication audits to promote quality improvement in your Practice.

Over 25 years of experience working with patients and healthcare professionals to
optimise patient centred care. My goal is to integrate and provide mentorship to
clinical pharmacists starting out in GP practice.
